One of the most popular musicals of the twentieth century Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story makes its way to Dunedin in time to mark the fiftieth anniversary of “the day the music died” – the death of the music legend Buddy Holly.
Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, tells the story of the three years in which Buddy Holly became the world's top recording artist with a show that features over 20 of Buddy Holly's greatest hits! Buddy Holly's brief life is immortalized in this dynamic and heart-rending stage show.
It's a celebration of the man, his music and life, that catches that unique mixture of innocence, determination, humour and charm that was Buddy Holly.

The Taieri Musical Society's production of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story runs from 16 - 14 October at the Coronation Hall, Mosgiel. The show is directed by Doug Kamo with musical direction by Bridget Telfer
