Auctioneer Lachie McLachlan (background) has guests digging deep to bid for a pair of Kong & V-Rex Bookends donated by Sir Richard Taylor and Lady Tania Rodger from Weta Workshops at the Neonatal Trust Otago Charity Auction and inaugral Charity Ball held at the Savoy this evening.

Around 140 guests bid on a variety of items donated by local businesses with proceeds going to helping families within the Otago/Southland region who have been involved in some way with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The Trust provides support to families of premature and sick full term babies as they make their journey through NICU, the transition home, and onwards.
