From the weird and humorous to the stylish and elegant to the downright cute and adorable - it was all on show at the Zonta Extraordinary Fashion Show held at the Wall Street shopping complex this evening as members of the audience were treated to a fashion spectacular featuring prominent Dunedin designers and garments from selected retail fashion stores as well as designs from the Otago Polytechnic School of Design.
Each year the Zonta Club of Dunedin hosts a fashion show to raise money for a nominated charity. This year proceeds from the show will be going to Dunedin Women's Refuge, Tamariki Education Programme.

MCs for the evening MoreFM breakfast show hosts Nicky Hunt and Damian Newell welcome guests before Mercy Hospital CEO Richard Whitney talks a little on the involvement of Mercy Hospital with Zonta over the years.

A charity auction was held during the intermission with none other than auctioneer extraordinare Warwick Grimmer in charge. Items up for auction included a beautiful embroidered bag from Tamsin Cooper and men's shoes autographed by some of the All Blacks and one pair signed by all the members of the cast of TV show Outrageous Fortune. President of the local Zonta Club Jeanette Fawcet spoke briefly about Zonta and the many activities it is involved with in helping women.
