Golden Centre Mall Annual Otago Community Hospice Gala Fundraiser

Colliers International auctioneer, John Bowring, has guests digging deep in to their pockets and purses during a charity auction at this evening's annual Dunedin Golden Centre Mall Black Tie Gala in support of the Otago Community Hospice.
Several thousand dollars were raised at the highly successful fundraiser with guests at the sold out event bidding on a superb range of auction items that included jewellery, golfers packages, dinner vouchers, accommodation packages as well as a pair of diamond tickets to the Elton John concert being held at the Forsyth Barr Stadium being held later in the month.

In the space of a couple of hours the Golden Centre shopping mall was magically transformed in to a beautifully decorated function venue. Otago Community Hospice Trust board chair, Stuart McLauchlan (top centre) welcomes guests and thanks them for their generous support. MoreFM breakfast host Nicky Rennie (bottom centre) has a quick word to guests before the start of the charity auction.
