A packed Golden Centre Shopping Mall was the scene this evening for an exclusive launch of the 2012 iD Dunedin Fashion Week with a sneak preview of upcoming spring/summer fashion collections by successful Dunedin designers and stockists including Lela Jacobs, Company of Strangers, Silk Body, Charmaine Reveley, Carlson, Vaughan Geeson (Waughs), DADA, I Love Paris and Hype. The collections were showcased by local modelling talent from Ali McD Modelling Agency. The 2012 iD Dunedin Fashion Week will take place from 27 March - 1 April 2012.
Aart on St Andrew's stylists featured hair trends direct from Australian Fashion Week during the evening, providing creative inspiration for new spring and summer styles. Attendees received goodie bags and spot prizes were provided by Revlon and Life Pharmacy. Retail outlets I Love Paris, Hype, Stewart Dawsons and Stax remained open until 9pm, offering a 20% discount on all purchases made.

MoreFM Breakfast show DJ and MC for the fashion show, Nicky Rennie (left), presents a $500 shopping voucher for the Golden Centre Mall retailers to a lucky member of the audience. Retailers I Love Paris and Stewart Dawson Jewellers were one of a handful of retailers from the mall to stay open late for the show.
